Beth Sholom Congregation

Our home is Beth Sholom Congregation , the only synagogue to be designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Its design represents Mount Sinai, the birthplace of Jewish law, making it a perfect setting to debate the critical issues of our times and model civil disagreement.

Within a few years of its completion, Beth Sholom was singled out by the American Institute of Architects and the National Trust for Historic Preservation as one of the 17 Wright buildings most worthy of preservation. Beth Sholom was listed as a National Historic Landmark in 2007.

Beth Sholom is a natural home for a forum that reflects Bernard Wolfman's belief in the Jewish values of education, action and civil debate, as it is the synagogue where he raised his children, passing down this legacy in which he was deeply vested.
